Best soaked/sprouted grain bread recipes ever! Review by Erin

My husband got me Sue Gregg's cookbook set for my birthday a year ago and I've used this cookbook more than any other book on my shelf for bread. Her whole grain dough recipe is the best soaked grain dough recipe I've ever had. I didn't like the grainy-ness of homemade whole wheat bread, but this recipe solved the grainy-ness problem and I love the flavor. For my bithday this year, my husband bought me the bosch universal mixer and I'm so excited to experiment with Sue's recipes in my bosch, so I can make double and triple batches and give loaves away for thank-you gifts. I also love the blender batter recipes, especially the pancake/waffles recipe, since all the work for making pancakes is done the night before and with 3 young children, a quick morning meal is essential...plus the pancakes taste better than IHOP pancakes, yet are made entirely with whole grain. I love, love, love this cookbook and can't recomend it more highly!!! (Posted on 3/2/11)
